Exploring shape and composition to make simple geometric artworks inspired by the work of the British artist Ben Nicholson.

We will begin by looking at some of Nicholson’s work before moving on to our own.

Using paper collage we will experiment with various compositions considering size, shape, balance and harmony. Once you have settled on a final design you will then go on to cut, glue and paint your final piece to take home.

All materials provided, all abilities very welcome.
