Delve into making and then destroying some art!
We may be familiar with making art through construction but what kind of art can we make by being destructive?
In this fun and gently rebellious (!) workshop we aim to discover what kind of marks, textures, patterns and shapes we can make on paper by employing techniques such as ripping, making holes, tearing, wiping out, scratching, scraping, rubbing, erasing, cutting, sanding, smudging, dissolving, or perhaps painting over. The results may be surprising!
You will leave the workshop with some new ideas and techniques to take to your future art projects, along with some beautifully destroyed pieces of artwork.
All abilities welcome.
